Illustrare is composed of musicians who have the desire to add, to balance and harmony, the creativity and desire to communicate all that resides in music and cannot be explained with words. The name “Illustrare” refers to the power of music to illustrate and create images with sound. In this ensemble, the experience is enriched by friendship and passion for music, transmitting a communicative energy with listeners.

Illustrare has been recognised internationally since its early years, receiving the Special Prize at the Xixón Early Music Video Competition (2022) and the Springboard Prize at the Młoda Muzyka Dawna Festival in Poland. In 2024, the ensemble was awarded the Prix Gli Angeli Genève, further establishing its place within the European early-music scene and supporting its ongoing artistic development.
